It strives to respond to community needs, aiming to create a better lifestyle for all in an optimum living environment, whilst preserving the unique natural beauty of the region. 

Sustainability means managing our development so that we don’t limit the options for future generations.

It’s about:

• doing more with less
• being proud of what we leave behind.

Sustainability is also about a better understanding of the natural systems that support what we do – the need to take a broader view to recognise that our day-to-day activities can simultaneously affect our economy, environment and community.

We can all contribute to a more sustainable region by being more aware of the choices we make and the impact of our decisions on those around us.
